Gadsden Update

We got an email from Ben today. Here is his report:

He did a training yesterday for all the missionaries since he is now the District Leader. He said it went well thanks to everyone's prayers. His said he knows the Spirit helped him out so much on that one. The zone leaders and President Tate also had a training. It went well and Ben loves seeing the other missionaries so he can learn from their experiences.

David Weaver is getting baptised on Sunday. He told Ben that he has never felt so peaceful in his life. He said he wished that he would have met the missionaries sooner. Ben said he loved that comment and that it really brought his spirits up. He's been really stressed lately with everything that is going on. He said that some how the Lord always pulls through for him and helps him out. He is grateful because he has felt the Spirit so strong lately.

They watched the Testaments at church on Sunday. They had investigators there and everyone was crying, including him. Everyone enjoyed it and it went really well. He loves how amazing that show is.

On Monday he is going on team-ups in Gardendale, then Tuesday he goes to Locust Fork. Then on Thursday he has another training for the district at Locust Fork so he has a really busy week. He said to pray for him.

He is playing football with the ward for the Turkey Bowl. They got permission to play. He is really excited to play football. They are also teaching a lot of people right now. Some of them are just struggling to get to church so he is going to work really hard on getting them to church. They are trying to work a lot more with the members, it has been helping out a ton.

He said things have been hard lately but that he really does love being a missionary. He has learned so many things in this last week that it is hard for him to grasp it all. He knows the church is true with all of his heart. He wanted my mom to look at this website: http://www.bookofmormontrial.com/. He said it's a book that is supposed to be pretty cool.

He is having Thanksgiving dinner at the William's house. He is really excited but he wishes he was here with us!
