Ben entered the MTC on September 10, 2008. Mom, Dad, Amy, Ben & Annie all drove together and Cody & Wendy met us there. We took a lot of pictures before we entered. We couldn't believe how big the MTC is and how many missionaries are there. The meeting was spiritual, emotional, and brief. The MTC Mission President seemed incredible. The Spirit was so strong there. They wanted us to say our goodbyes quickly and then told the missionaries to leave through one door and the family members through the other. Ben was absolutely ready to go which made it a little easier. We all shed a lot of tears, but Ben looked great. He was glowing. We tried to make our goodbyes short, which made it a LITTLE easier. Ben was really excited to start this journey. We know he's going to be one incredible missionary.
