First Email

We heard from Ben on Wednesday via email! We were SOOOO excited to hear from him. We found out that he hasn't received any of our letters. Unfortunately we were sending them straight to the mission home and it is taking a long time to get them forwarded to Ben's apartment. He has a baptism this Sunday. He's really excited. He says she is a golden contact. They have been teaching her for awhile at the church and she's excited to get baptised. She's going through a divorce and has two small children. Her name is Sandy. He only gets an hour on the computer to read and write to everyone so he said he would just type one email to Mom and she would forward it to everyone. He said he loves his family so much and that he covered his Preach My Gospel book with our pictures. He said it puts a smile on his face. It was great to hear from him. He was so glad to get everyone's emails because he hadn't received any of our letters since he's been in Alabama. We'll keep checking the mail for his next letter. He said he was sending a tape and some more pictures soon.
